RCS Construction brought SayleGroup CEO, Stephen Sayle, in to speak to a group of their site supervisors on the impending legalization of cannabis (October 17th) and its potential impact on workplace safety.  Stephen, who has been travelling the country - presenting on the importance of educating the workforce on this issue, spoke about the potential and actual hazards resulting from impairment (not just from cannabis, but other sources as well) and what each organization should be doing to prepare for a smooth, safe and successful transition into the legalization of off-duty recreational cannabis use.

A key feature of the preparation Stephen spoke to is educating the workforce on what we know, making them aware of those topics that are still being studied and empowering them with the practical skills that will allow them to balance workplace safety and employee privacy interests.  In a change as unprecedented as this, it all comes down to education and SayleGroup was proud to collaborate with RCS in ensuring their personnel have the best information at their fingertips and their organization is able to lead the way within their industry.
