How are you a part of/contributing to the Halifax business community? How are you making it stronger?

SayleSafety:

Our primary focus is on creating affordable solutions for small businesses in Nova Scotia and across Canada. We provide online solutions to training and Occupational Health & Safety management, which includes a web-based app that is applicable to businesses in all industries and sectors. Through the sale of our app, we inject years of OHS expertise gained through careers in the energy and marine sectors around the world into teams of any size and in any sector.

This will help ease the operational burden placed on smaller businesses, which often cannot afford to hire and train a safety coordinator to implement current paper-based safety management systems. For that reason, our app will not only make workplace safety best practices more accessible, but it will also help reduce the overhead cost associated with safety management by eliminating the need for additional wage expenses and allowing all employees to focus on other important tasks.

Those simplified solutions include online software modules for safety briefings and bulletins, jobsite hazard assessments and meetings and will be continuously expanded to include employee training and certificate management, personal protective equipment guidelines and management, building and facility inspections, equipment and vehicle inspections, emergency response guidance, incident investigation and reporting, and direct access to the laws and regulations governing a client company’s industry and region of operation.

Our solutions make it clear why safety is important and instil the belief that everyone wants to go to work, do their job well and get home safe.
