SayleSafety Honoured at DEFSEC (Part 1 of 2)
Wins 2017 ACADA Industry Excellence Recognition Award: Most Promising Start-up or Business Diversification
Below is the address given during the Atlantic Canada Aerospace & Defence Association (ACADA) Reception and Dinner, announcing SayleSafety's win of the award:
SayleSafety Inc., based in Halifax, NS, is an Atlantic Canadian start-up organization developing products for domestic and export markets.
SayleSafety is reinventing safety culture and training for small to large businesses through initiatives such as;
- their Safety Culture 100 online program (a one of a kind training program to refresh the beliefs, attitudes and practices inherent in a strong Safety Culture)
- custom online modules on cutting edge issues like “Workplace Safety Implications of Cannabis Legalization” (due to launch Fall 2017).
- safety training VR initiative with their First Nations partner, Virtual Nation.
- online ecosystem and smartphone applications to replace inefficient paper-based systems – putting a safety coach in the palm of your hand for Hazard/Task Risk Assessments, Safety Briefings, Safety Toolbox Talks, and more.
Their course, app and safety management systems (integrated under their “Safety Culture Works Program”) are creating a Safety Culture movement in a variety of industries, including the Aerospace & Defence Supply Chain.
A safe and healthy workforce is a pillar of scalable and sustainable businesses – and SayleSafety is addressing that need– enhancing the Safety Culture to support business efficiencies and growth, and by virtue, creating a strong Aerospace & Defence Industry Supply Chain.
It is our pleasure to announce SayleSafety Inc. as the recipient for the 2017 ACADA Industry Excellence Recognition Award in the category of Most Promising Start-up or Business Diversification.
