What would being named New Business of the Year mean to your business?

Being named New Business of the Year would validate our efforts to create a Safety Culture movement in Nova Scotia, which will then spread to Atlantic Canada, Canada and beyond.
We hope to bring attention to the importance of a strong Safety Culture towards building the economy. We believe that workplace safety is a critical component of a successful and sustainable business regardless of its size, and hence a strong economy.
Being acknowledged as New Business of the Year will help us demonstrate that Occupational Health and Safety deserves a seat at the boardroom table to be integrated into strategic business operations from the top down.
A strong and healthy workforce is a pillar of the Ivany Report recommendations – and our business and the Safety Culture movement addresses that need.
This nomination has solidified our purpose to ensure everyone wants to go to work, do their job well and get home safe.
